Trekkers on the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib trail, Garhwal Himalaya, Uttarakhand
Our Story · Since 2009

A Garhwali trekking company, not a call-centre

We started Valley of Flowers India back in 2009. We're a small team, born and raised in the Uttarakhand hills, and we'd been walking these trails long before the Valley of Flowers ever turned up on a bucket list. So yes, we're a trekking company. But honestly, we're just people who never got over how beautiful this pocket of the Garhwal Himalaya is, and who still light up a little every time we get to show it to someone for the first time.

Everything we run, we run ourselves. As a trekking company based between Rishikesh and Dehradun, we build our own Himalayan trek packages, with no middlemen and nothing resold. Whether it's the flagship Valley of Flowers tour package with Hemkund Sahib or one of the quieter monsoon treks tucked around Uttarakhand, a certified Garhwali guide leads every departure. Someone who reads the weather, knows the flowers by name, and can tell when to push on and when to simply stop and let you take it in.

That trust has added up over 15 seasons and more than 10,000 trekkers, and plenty of them come back. When you write to us, you won't reach a call-centre. You'll reach someone who has actually stood in that valley at first light. Come and walk with us, and we'll take care of the rest.

How do I reach the Valley of Flowers trek from Rishikesh or Haridwar?

Rishikesh and Haridwar are the two main starting points. From either, it is a scenic 9–10 hour drive (about 275 km) to Govindghat, the trailhead. Our Valley of Flowers trek packages include pickup and all road transfers from Rishikesh or Haridwar, so you never have to arrange transport yourself.

Can I do the Valley of Flowers trek from Delhi?

Yes — most of our trekkers travel from Delhi. Take an overnight train or bus, or a short flight to Dehradun, to reach Haridwar or Rishikesh, and we take over from there with transport, stays, permits and certified guides for the full Valley of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib trek.

How much does the Valley of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib trek package cost?

Group departures start at ₹11,500 per person for the 5N/6D Valley of Flowers + Hemkund Sahib trek. Private treks with a dedicated car are ₹17,900 per person for a group of four and ₹23,500 per person for two. Every option is all-inclusive from Haridwar.

What is the best time for the Valley of Flowers trek?

Mid-July to August is peak bloom, with the widest variety of flowers. September is quieter with clearer mountain views. The valley is open from mid-June to early October, which makes it one of India's classic monsoon treks.

How do I book the Valley of Flowers trek?

Send an enquiry through the form on this page, WhatsApp, or call us. We share the full itinerary, confirm your dates, and hold your seats with a 25% deposit. The balance is paid closer to departure. Booking 4–6 weeks ahead is recommended in peak season.

Do you run the trek yourselves, or is it outsourced?
